At a young age Romulus Ledbetter (Samuel L. Jackson) was a brilliant musician with a bright future. Today he lives as a homeless in a cave and he suffers from schizofrenia and paranoia. Romulus is convinced that he is being watched from the top of the Chrysler building and he feels threatened by this supreme being. One day, Romulus finds the frozen body of Scotty Gates (Sean MacMahon), a homeless boy that had spent a lot of time with photographer / artist David Leppenraub (Colm Feore).
