The film starts with Mitchie returning to Camp Rock and meeting all her friends, plus even singing her newest song (Brand New Day). Meanwhile, Shan and his brother's trailer gets stuck, causing them to use a wagon to get to Camp Rock. Over there, they learn of Camp Star, a rival camp across the lake which invites them to a friendly bonfire. After seeing Camp Star's performance, many members of Camp Rock leave and join Camp Star. Nate falls in love with Dana, daughter of Camp Star's owner. Since most of Camp Rock's staff has left, Mitchie and the gang take up the job as counsellors and during the days they decide to challenge Camp Stars to Camp Wars, a musical showdown being broadcasted on tv. At the showdown, Camp Star wins and Camp Rock is forced to close. This is the last movie of the series Camp Rock.
